Krishna janmabhoomi

Meaning Lord Krishna's birth place is a temple built on the place said to be the spot where he was born. However, this is a divided belief and many hold that it is the Keshava Deo Temple, close by that is truly where he was born. It was built by a Hindu nobleman called Rao Veer Singh Bundela. Both ways both temples are sacred and a must visit.
The same temple of Keshava Deo got destroyed in parts during the reign of Emperor Aurangzeb, and from its stone was built the Jami Masjid in the 16th century, in the same area. Most sacred mosque of Muslims in Mathura built by Abo-in-Nabir-Khan in 1661AD has 4 towering minarets with bright colored plaster mosaic of which few panels still exist.
Dwarikadheesh Temple - Built in 1814, it is the main temple of the town, located in the eastern part of Mathura not far from the Yamuna River built by treasure of Gwalior, Seth Gokuldas During the festivals of Holi, Janmashtami and Diwali, pilgrims throng the temple from all over the country and participate in the festivities with great devotion and excitement.
Vishram Ghat on the banks of the river Yamuna, called the resting place, where Lord Krishna is believed to have rested after assassinating the duce Kansa.
The Jaipur Temple is one of the famous temples in Vrindavan. It is renowned for its unparallel workmanship on sandstone and intricate design on marble.
Kaliya ghat

Kaliya ghat is a place where Lord Krishna jumped from a big Kadamba Tree into the Yamuna River, in order to chastise the Kaliya serpent that was poisoning the waters of the river. The Kadamba tree that is here is said to be the exact same tree that Krishna jumped from, 5,000 years ago even though the Yamuna does not flow here anymore, except during the rainy season when the river floods.
Mahavan –Churasi Khambha

18 km from Mathura, lying on the left bank of the River Yamuna, is the large shrine of Mathuranath. The structure with brick and plaster built in the Buddhist style; it is famed for its Chaurasi Khambha (eighty four pillars). The palace of Rohini, the mother of Baldev is now the Chathi - Palana Temple. Other important shrines include the Shyamlalji Temple, the Yogmaya Temple, Tranairatri Temple and the Mahamall Raiji's palace.
Dhapewada

Devpada is very beautiful place to visit. Dhapewada is situated on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River. A noteworthy feature of the town is the temple of Vithoba, which overlooks the river. Umaji Aba, Diwan to Raja Bajirao Bhonsle, built it. Not surprisingly, Dhapewada is also known as Vidarbha's Pandharpur. This place is affectionately termed as the Pandharpur of Vidarbha. Khindsey Lake is a gorgeous water body set amidst the green stretch, placed beneath the Ramtek hill. It forms an ideal picnic spot. Fascinating greens and crystal clear waters are set in the backdrop. Regular bus services are available Khindsey Lake to Nagpur / Ramtek and vice-versa.
Nandgaon –Krishna home

There is legend behind Nandgaon. It is the home of Shri Krishna's foster father, Nand. On the top of the hill is the spacious temple of Nand Rai, built by the Jat ruler Roop Singh. The other temples here are dedicated to Narsingha, Gopinath, Nritya Gopal, Girdhari, Nand Nandan, and Yasodha Nandan which is located half way up the hill. A little beyond is the Pan Sarovar, where Shri Krishna used to take his cows for water.
Radhakund
It is located 5 km north of Govardhan and 26 km west of Mathura. Radhakund is a large lake, where Shri Krishna is said to have killed Arishta - the bull demon. A large fair is held at this spot every year.

The nearest airport is Agra around 67 km away from Vrindavan. There are regular flights to other important tourist destinations of India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, and Khajuraho. The nearest international airport is Delhi, which is connected to almost every important city in the world with major airlines.
By Rail
Though Vrindavan itself is a railway station, the major railway station nearby is Mathura on the Delhi-Chennai and Delhi-Mumbai main line. Several express trains connect Mathura from other major cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Agra.
By Road
