Gwalior Fort : Gwalior fort is situated in Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. It is built on a huge single isolated rock. There are many remarkable temples within the fort. For more than 100 years this amazing fort has been looking over the city of Gwalior. this is one of the greatest forts in India. It is built on a hill of sandstone and towers 100 meters from the plain surface. The outer wall of the fort is almost 2.4 kms in length and the width varies from one km's to 200 meters. The walls of the fort give way onto the steep slopes of he huge sand rock. This fort has been home to many battles in the ancient times as well as festivals in the times of peace. It was here that Tatyia tope and Rani of Jhansi fought for their freedom from the British. Rani of Jhansi even gave her life in attempt to save the fort from an assault by the British to capture it. This fort has seen the most of the bloodiest battles from all the times.
Sasbahu Temple : It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu by the King Mahipala. Lord Vishnu is also known as Sahastrabahu, the one with many hands. But gradually the name changed into Sas Bahu Temple. At the Gate of the Sas Bahu Temple there is a caption in Sanskrit. The doorway gives the view of the Indian Trinity, Lord Brahma, the creator, Lord Vishnu the Preserver and Lord Shiva or the Destroyer. The temple has rare quality of architectural skill displayed in it, There are two temples, which are conjointly known as the Sas Bahu Temple . One of the temples is bigger than the other, and perhaps for that reason, one is considered as the Mother-in Law whiles the other as the Daughter-in-Law. Graceful figures are in scripted on the wall of the temple and there are pillars that are also display architectural skills
Teli-ka Mandir : The Teli Temple, is a marvellous amalgam of the architecture features of the temples of North and South India. This Rajput Temple is an amalgam of the northern and southern architectural styles of India, The tallest and most impressive temple within the precincts of the Gwalior Fort, Its name originate in 794. The temple got its name from the legend monument because men of the Teli caste or oil merchants handled its construction. A third conjecture is that the name suggests a link with the Telangana region in modern Andhra Pradesh, suggesting the fusion of Dravidian and North Indian architectural styles.
Man Singh Palace : Mansingh palace is housed within the Gwalior fort spreads out over an area of 3kms.Man Singh Palace, Gwalior is one of the classic works of art in the Gwalior Fort. It was built in the 15th century by Raja ManSingh. It has got a historical significance because it was the place where Aurangzeb imprisoned and killed his brother Murad.It also has the infamous Jauhar Kund where the women of the harem burnt themselves to death after the King of Gwalior was killed in 1232. Man Singh Palace is regarded as one of the best tourist attractions because of its aura. It is a delightful whimsical building and is also known as the Painted Palace or the Chit Mandir. The Palace has got this name because of the painted and tiled decoration of elephants, peacocks and ducks. Painted Blue with hints of green and gold they look really captivating.

By Air: Gwalior airport is located 8km from the main city. It is connected to all the major cities in India by direct flights.
By Rail: Gwalior railway station is conveniently located on the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi -Chennai rail link. Among major trains, the Taj and Shatabdi Express connect Gwalior with Delhi and Agra.
By Road: Gwalior is well connected by a good road network connecting all the major places in Madhya Pradesh and the surrounding areas.
