There are various religious places in gujarat where devotees come and tourists also come to learn indian culture and tradition. There are temples like dwarkanath temple in dwarka, swaminarayan temple in ahmdabad etc.
Somnath temple- The Somnath temple stands tall among all the temples of India. The construction of the temple in Junagadh began in 1950. It is the seventh temple built to enhance the glory of Lord Somnath.
Akshardham temple - this temple is set in a 23 acre plot in gandhinagar district and is built from pink sandstone. A point worth noting is that this hindu shrine was built according to vastu shastra and not a bit of steel has been used in the temple.
Numerous fairs- are held in gujarat every year like the famous kite festival which attracts a lot of people.
Kite festival - the international kite festival is held on 14 January every year in ahemdabad. On the day of the festival thousands of kites can be seen flying across the sky.
Gir national park - is also situated in the state of Gujarat. It boasts for the only national animal park to have Asiatic lions. This forest is the only place where an Asiatic lion can be seen in its natural habitat.
There are also various beaches to relax in gujrat like gopnath beach, bet dwarka beach, chorwad beach etc.

By Air: The state of Gujarat has 10 domestic airports and an international airport in the state capital Ahmedabad .
