Guwahati

Guwahati – guwahati is a major city of assam and also one of its fastest developing cities of assam also. Guwahati zoo -is a place which one should not miss if they have visited guwahati. It is the largest natural zoo of the country and has a large number of species of animals and birds.

Shiva temple – of umananda which is reached by boats and public ferries is a very famous temple. It stands on a small island in the middle of the river brahmaputra.

Chandubi Lake -Chandubi Lake: A natural lagoon and fine picnic spot for everyone. It is situated 64 kms away from Guwahati. The lake and its surroundings is an ideal holiday resort and a soothing picnic spot with the added attraction of fishing and rowing.

By Rail: It is well connected with all the major cities of India through Paltan Bazaar Railway Station which is an important terminus on the North-East Frontier Railway.
