Skiing is a generally a sport in which participants must move on skis. Skis is a pair of long flat runners of plastic,wood or metal that curve upward in front. It may be attached to a boot for gliding or traveling over snow. It is usually played on the mountains slopes enclosed with white snow.
Although skiing is a famous sport in modern world, the first skis were used as a quick and efficient means of transportation rather than for recreation. It is believed that skis started in the Scandinavian nations about 5,000 years ago.

Snow Boarding
Snow boarding is traced back in 1960’s.It is a winter sport in which snowboarding riders ride a fiberglass board, just like a skateboard with a feet strapped on it and sliding down a ski slope or a particularly designed pipe.
Some people try to compare snowboarding to skiing. Snowboarding techniques are like as skateboarding and surfing than to skiing.

River Rafting

Paragliding
Paragliding is a famous sport in which a person jumps from an aircraft or a highest place wearing a triangular parachute. It is a dangerous dare to fly high to touch the sky. In other words it is the act of flying by means of paragliders. Paragliding was found in India as late as in 1991-92. There is no special clothing is required in paragliding. One must wear helmet and radios. You have to wear long pants and comfortable shoes that gives you some ankle support. Always take water and camera with you to take pictures of your flight.

Rock climbing is a very tough job. There are lots of risk in this sport. Rock climbing for someone is a dangerous sport, but for the professional rock climbers it is not a sport. It is an adventure of the greatest magnitude for them . It is a fight against self, with the elements and the ultimate goal is to reach the summit and return back alive. Rock climbing is a practical test of strength, will power, concentration and coordination skills and techniques. A climber get great experience with climbing more because the mountain must not be taken for granted. In modern days ice climbing has become the fastest growing sports of India.

Angling

Angling is the process or art of fishing with the help of a hook and line and usually a rod. It needs a lot of patience and ability to keep still and quite for hours.
